Live Program Open House

On 5 April 2022, Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing host­ed a Live Pro­gram Open House and Q&A Ses­sion for Prospec­tive Men­tors. Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing COO Dr. Daniel Balestri­ni and Engage­ment Spe­cial­ist Christin Graml kicked off the event with intro­duc­tions and a brief overview pre­sen­ta­tion to the program. 
Also join­ing was guest speak­er Dr. Aphrodite Sbi­ra­ki, a vet­eri­nary sci­en­tist from Greece spe­cial­iz­ing in zoono­sis who works close­ly with the Euro­pean Union Ref­er­ence Lab­o­ra­to­ries. Dr. Sbi­ra­ki has been one of our par­tic­i­pat­ing men­tors since April of 2021. She gave atten­dees an insid­er’s look into what it’s like to be a men­tor and shared her per­son­al expe­ri­ence about what it’s like to men­tor a tal­ent­ed young stu­dent from a coun­try dif­fer­ent from her own. The event then opened up for ques­tions from the audience. 
The event was attend­ed by indi­vid­u­als from three con­ti­nents and was open to all STEMM experts who are con­sid­er­ing becom­ing a men­tor as well as all Glob­al Tal­ent Men­tor­ing part­ner orga­ni­za­tions and oth­er col­lab­o­rat­ing institutions.
