Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory
New Jersey, United StatesDr. Ruben Fair is the head of the ITER department at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) in Princeton, New Jersey. Prior to his appointment at PPPL, Dr. Fair was a magnet group leader for the Experimental Nuclear Physics Division at the internationally leading Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) in Newport News, Virginia. Previously at General Electric and a graduate of Imperial College London, Dr. Fair is an electrical engineering and superconductivity researcher with more than twenty years of experience in the field.

North Carolina, United StatesThe Honorable Prof. Dr. Sekazi K. Mtingwa is a Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab)-trained physicist whose contributions led to the discovery of the top quark. He is the co-recipient of the 2017 American Physical Society’s Robert R. Wilson Prize for Outstanding Achievement in the Physics of Particle Accelerators. In 2019, the MIT and Princeton alumnus was also awarded the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring. His areas of expertise are high energy, nuclear, and accelerator physics.
