New Jer­sey, Unit­ed StatesDr. Ruben Fair is the head of the ITER depart­ment at Prince­ton Plas­ma Physics Lab­o­ra­to­ry (PPPL) in Prince­ton, New Jer­sey. Pri­or to his appoint­ment at PPPL, Dr. Fair was a mag­net group leader for the Exper­i­men­tal Nuclear Physics Divi­sion at the inter­na­tion­al­ly lead­ing Thomas Jef­fer­son Nation­al Accel­er­a­tor Facil­i­ty (Jef­fer­son Lab) in New­port News, Vir­ginia. Pre­vi­ous­ly at Gen­er­al Elec­tric and a grad­u­ate of Impe­r­i­al Col­lege Lon­don, Dr. Fair is an elec­tri­cal engi­neer­ing and super­con­duc­tiv­i­ty researcher with more than twen­ty years of expe­ri­ence in the field.

North Car­oli­na, Unit­ed StatesThe Hon­or­able Prof. Dr. Sekazi K. Mting­wa is a Fer­mi Nation­al Accel­er­a­tor Lab­o­ra­to­ry (Fermilab)-trained physi­cist whose con­tri­bu­tions led to the dis­cov­ery of the top quark. He is the co-recip­i­ent of the 2017 Amer­i­can Phys­i­cal Society’s Robert R. Wil­son Prize for Out­stand­ing Achieve­ment in the Physics of Par­ti­cle Accel­er­a­tors. In 2019, the MIT and Prince­ton alum­nus was also award­ed the Pres­i­den­tial Award for Excel­lence in Sci­ence, Math­e­mat­ics and Engi­neer­ing Men­tor­ing. His areas of exper­tise are high ener­gy, nuclear, and accel­er­a­tor physics.
