Canadian organization offers support in an effort to raise awareness of Global Talent Mentoring in North America
The team at Global Talent Mentoring has been hard at work continually expanding its global network. In order to increase awareness in North America, Global Talent Mentoring has been in contact with several STEMM-focused organizations that have agreed to support its goals. One such organization is the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC), which has remained central to supporting and shaping the chemistry industry and chemistry business in Canada for years. Global Talent Mentoring is currently looking for qualified STEMM experts to become mentor volunteers and is happy to report that CIAC has spread this message via its recent newsletter throughout the CIAC network. Thank you, CIAC, for helping to expand the international community of mentors at Global Talent Mentoring!
CIAC is the voice of Canada’s chemistry business. The association represents over 50 companies and Responsible Care® partners ranging from 50 to 2,000 employees that operate in the chemistry industry. Member companies are responsible for some 200 sites across Canada that produce basic chemicals and resins for manufacturing processes, as well as provide technology, services, marketing, and research and development for chemical products. CIAC members focus on producing essential products and basic building blocks that serve a variety of functions, from ensuring safe, clean drinking water, to creating the plastics that keep food fresh and tasty.
