On 9 May 2023, the third cohort of mentees and mentors started their mentoring journey in Global Talent Mentoring. We received numerous amazing applications from students in STEMM from around the world who are burning to develop their already remarkable talents in their specific STEMM areas. The accepted mentees are being matched with mentors in their specialized areas of interest. Once matched, the mentees then begin their mentoring journeys with Global Talent Mentoring.
Our partner institutions on five continents nominated youths who are already remarkably far along for their ages in developing their talent in a specific STEMM domain. Our research team carefully reviewed their applications. Mentees accepted into the program were then matched with available mentors, first and foremost in light of mentees’ and mentors’ STEMM focus.
The new mentees’ areas of special interest cover a broad range of STEMM domains, from AI, geophysical engineering, and neuroscience, to cosmology, high energy physics, and quantum mechanics. Counting the home countries of our newest cohort, Global Talent Mentoring has welcomed mentees and mentors from almost 50 different countries into the program since April of 2021. However, one core purpose unifies the remarkable variety found within the program: fostering excellence in STEMM in youths and young adults who are exceptionally determined to develop in a specific STEMM domain. Global Talent Mentoring embraces mentees and mentors with diverse subjects of focus from various cultures to provide them with an appropriate environment for pursuing their amazing ambitions and passions.
Under the supervision of the program’s scientific directors and based on the experience and knowledge we gained through running two mentoring cycles by now, our team in Global Talent Mentoring spares no effort to provide our mentees and mentors with the best mentoring opportunity on their path toward excellence.
