Mentoring has Commenced!

Men­tor­ing has started! 

119 mentees and 119 men­tors were giv­en access to our cus­tom-designed online plat­form, mark­ing the start of our pilot round of mentoring! 

Prof. Dr. Hei­drun Stoeger and her inter­na­tion­al team of researchers and IT spe­cial­ists are proud to show­case this step to the world. Behind this moment are more than three years of net­work build­ing, research­ing, and programming—even dur­ing a pandemic. 

We offer our deep­est thanks to our sup­port­ive net­work of part­ners locat­ed in 30 coun­tries across the globe for their cru­cial roles in help­ing us iden­ti­fy 238 incred­i­ble par­tic­i­pants and to the pro­gram own­er, the Ham­dan Foundation. 

Dur­ing the first few weeks of men­tor­ing, mentee–mentor pairs will get to know each oth­er, receive cus­tomized train­ing, and talk with each oth­er about future STEMM goals. As this first year of men­tor­ing unfolds, we will con­tin­ue to share updates on the progress of our amaz­ing participants.
