About the institution

Founded in 1951, the University of Wollongong (UOW) is proud to be a globally recognized and respected university. UOW partners with its communities to make an impact locally and to address society’s critical economic, environmental, social and medical challenges. UOW’s ambition for its graduates is that they will be ethical, agile thinkers who are competitive in a global economy. UOW prides itself on preparing people to succeed in emerging industries and future jobs and take their careers to the next level to make a positive contribution to their communities. The dissemination of UOW’s research to user communities, including industry, is also one of its key goals.
