Found­ed in 1951, the Uni­ver­si­ty of Wol­lon­gong (UOW) is proud to be a glob­al­ly rec­og­nized and respect­ed uni­ver­si­ty. UOW part­ners with its com­mu­ni­ties to make an impact local­ly and to address society’s crit­i­cal eco­nom­ic, envi­ron­men­tal, social and med­ical chal­lenges. UOW’s ambi­tion for its grad­u­ates is that they will be eth­i­cal, agile thinkers who are com­pet­i­tive in a glob­al econ­o­my. UOW prides itself on prepar­ing peo­ple to suc­ceed in emerg­ing indus­tries and future jobs and take their careers to the next lev­el to make a pos­i­tive con­tri­bu­tion to their com­mu­ni­ties. The dis­sem­i­na­tion of UOW’s research to user com­mu­ni­ties, includ­ing indus­try, is also one of its key goals.
