About the institution

Taipei Resource Cen­ter for the Gift­ed and Tal­ent­ed (TRCGT), as the first gift­ed edu­ca­tion resource cen­ter in Tai­wan (Repub­lic of Chi­na), has been lead­ing Taipei’s gift­ed edu­ca­tion since 2000. Based on the “Taipei City White Paper on Gift­ed and Tal­ent­ed Edu­ca­tion,” which was pub­lished in 1999 and revised in 2004, 2010 and 2015, TRCGT estab­lish­es and pro­vides resources on gift­ed edu­ca­tion, con­ducts and pro­motes activ­i­ties for gift­ed stu­dents. Fur­ther­more, TRCGT devel­ops cur­ric­u­la, teach­ing mate­ri­als, iden­ti­fi­ca­tion assess­ments, and coun­sel­ing pro­grams on gift­ed education.
