About the institution

Rad­boud Uni­ver­si­ty (RU) has a tra­di­tion of excel­lence dat­ing back to 1923. RU is the best tra­di­tion­al, gen­er­al uni­ver­si­ty in the Nether­lands (accord­ing to the Dutch uni­ver­si­ty infor­ma­tion guide Keuzegids Uni­ver­siteit­en 2020). Two of RU’s pro­grams received a “Top Pro­gram” des­ig­na­tion and nine pro­gram were deemed the best in their field by the Keuzegids. RU’s sev­en fac­ul­ties offer a robust aca­d­e­m­ic expe­ri­ence that includes the Fac­ul­ty of Sci­ence and Rad­boud Uni­ver­si­ty Med­ical Cen­tre. RU has also pro­duced two Nobel Lau­re­ates in Physics (2010). RU prides itself on its excel­lent research oppor­tu­ni­ties, as well as its col­lab­o­ra­tion with social and busi­ness partners.
