The Nation­al Ped­a­gog­i­cal Insti­tute of the Czech Repub­lic (NPI CR) is an orga­ni­za­tion direct­ly man­aged by the Min­istry of Edu­ca­tion, Youth and Sports. NPI CR fur­thers the edu­ca­tion and pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment of ped­a­gog­i­cal staff of schools and school facil­i­ties. NPI CR also guar­an­tees sys­temic care for tal­ent­ed or excep­tion­al­ly gift­ed chil­dren and youth, as well as tar­get­ed sup­port for teach­ers. Tal­ent­cen­tre, a depart­ment of NPI CR, is a mem­ber of the Euro­pean Tal­ent Sup­port Net­work (ETSN). The Czech Min­istry of Edu­ca­tion has entrust­ed Tal­ent­cen­tre with cre­at­ing the Tal­ent Sup­port Sys­tem in the Czech Repub­lic, which sup­ports the tal­ent­ed and gift­ed stu­dents and their teachers.
