About the institution

Fundación STEM sin Fronteras (FSsF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting STEM education in marginalized rural communities of Colombia. The organization aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in STEM while bridging the gap between traditional learning and the capacity building needed today. One of its primary goals is to empower girls and young women to pursue STEM education, recognizing the significance of increasing diversity, inclusion, and innovation in the field. The organization achieves this mission by providing various tools and platforms, including science fairs, social media platforms, blogs, webinars, and forums, to highlight its work and share information and resources about STEM education. Through its efforts, FSsF aims to create a more inclusive and equitable society where everyone can have access to STEM programs and the opportunity to pursue their passions and achieve their full potential.
