About the institution

Established in 1964, Florida Atlantic University currently serves more than 29,000 undergraduate and graduate students. FAU’s student body ranks as the most ethnically and culturally diverse in Florida’s State University System. Additionally, its Lifelong Learning Society is believed to be the largest and most successful program of its kind in the United States. FAU comprises 10 colleges offering more than 180 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The FAU College of Education offers aspiring educators a broader choice of undergraduate programs than many schools, along with four University public laboratory schools that add valuable practical experience and research.
