Dr. Kalma­di Shama­rao Junior Col­lege (KSJC) is an inno­v­a­tive insti­tute for the last two years of sec­ondary school that pro­vides a range of scholas­tic pro­grams bring­ing out the best in its pupils. In its pur­suit to achieve aca­d­e­m­ic excel­lence, the high­ly qual­i­fied and moti­vat­ed KSJC staff plays a piv­otal role. KSJC is one of sev­er­al schools and col­leges that form the Kan­na­da Sangha’s Kaveri Group of Insti­tutes (KGI), an evolv­ing, lead­ing name in edu­ca­tion in Pune with roots dat­ing back to 1952. The KGI aims to be a knowl­edge men­tor that trig­gers orig­i­nal think­ing in its stu­dents through a learn­ing-cen­tered, edu­ca­tion­al plat­form using inno­v­a­tive and expe­ri­en­tial ped­a­gogy and that instills high eth­i­cal stan­dards, account­abil­i­ty, and proac­tive cit­i­zen­ship in its stu­dents and staff, as guid­ed by vision­ary leadership.
