About the institution
Founded in 2008, Centre for CSR Development Ukraine (CSR Ukraine) unites companies, advocates for the development of CSR at the national level, and, together with businesses and donors, implements sustainable CSR projects for systemic change in Ukraine. The values of CSR Ukraine are leadership, transparency, creativity, and passion. CSR Ukraine has four priority areas: CSR in conflict times, business-university-school cooperation, social responsibility of municipalities, and state-owned companies. Within the priority area of “business-university-school cooperation,” CSR Ukraine works on STEM projects. In 2015, CSR established a national STEM coalition with 20 member organizations including universities, schools, companies, and research institutes. Overall, CSR Ukraine has implemented more than 80 projects, prepared and published more than 135 publications, and organized more than 250 public events, which have attracted about 4,500 participants from NGOs, businesses, public agencies, donors, and media.
