About the institution

Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP) is an award-winning mathematics education non-profit organization that has worked with educators, students, businesses, and industry to support and create learning environments where mathematics is used to investigate and model real issues in our world. COMAP’s educational philosophy centers on mathematical modeling: using mathematical tools to explore real-world problems. COMAP partners with other organizations and participates in national and international conferences with the goal of encouraging educators to integrate applied mathematics and modeling into their classrooms.
