About the institution

The Belin-Blank Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development is part of the University of Iowa’s College of Education. Since 1988, the comprehensive center has been nurturing potential and inspiring excellence in gifted education. The center’s mission is to empower and serve the international gifted community through exemplary leadership in programs, research, and advocacy. The Belin-Blank Center collaborates with the worldwide gifted community to offer a wide range of innovative programming and services for gifted students. Some of these services include identification of gifted and talented learners, assessments and counseling, and special educational opportunities, resources, and curriculum.
