Global Talent Mentoring fosters excellence and innovation in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical sciences worldwide for exceptionally talented youth through evidence-based, long-term online mentoring.

Take a look to find out what Global Talent Mentoring is all about!

Global Talent Mentoring is an online mentoring program for developing talents in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical sciences (STEMM). The program will start with the fourth group of mentees in the spring of 2024. The program’s unprecedented combination of offerings, all free of charge, include:
  • One-on-one mentoring by international experts
  • Tailored learning pathways for optimal individual talent development
  • International networking opportunities with the best minds in STEMM from all over the world
  • Long-term support over several years of accruing expertise
  • Evaluation and enhancement of the program through continuous research

Mentoring

Global Talent Mentoring matches highly motivated youths with exceptional achievements in STEMM with outstanding STEMM experts. Mentoring is a collaborative at-will relationship in which one person—a mentor—shares their knowledge, skills, and experience with another person—a mentee—who is typically not as knowledgeable or experienced and benefits from the mentor’s guidance and perspective. Mentoring is considered a highly effective talent development measure that can yield especially positive results in gifted students. Through this support, mentees can gain knowledge in their field of interest, learn specific skills, and receive valuable advice on their career plans and advancement.

There are talents all over the world and the language of science does not know borders. Good mentoring is the best way to ask the right questions.

Mentees

The mentees of Global Talent Mentoring are the most outstanding talents in a STEMM domain in their respective country.

Participating students will be mentored, have the ability to work on their own projects and research, and collaborate with the international network through the platform. Please read the participation criteria.

Mentors

Our mentors are leading experts in their respective STEMM field who have a proven track record of outstanding accomplishments. Practicing scientists, professors, researchers, and developers are just some of the examples of exceptional individuals who regularly volunteer their time to share their knowledge, experience, and passion with our outstanding mentees.

Partnership

Our partners are a mix of STEMM and STEMM-related organizations, universities, schools, ministries, and companies from around the world. These partners connect us with the majority of our outstanding young mentees and expert mentor volunteers. Like our mentees and mentors, partners work with us on a voluntary basis to help promote the common goal of increasing shared STEMM expertise internationally. Global Talent Mentoring partners have access to our global partner network, which gives them the opportunity to interact with the distinguished organizations, STEMM experts, and exceptionally talented youths that form our community of STEMM talent development.
